63-year-old man arrested after driving the wrong way on I-93 in Salem, NH

SALEM,NH — A man was arrested after driving the wrong way on I-93 in Salem, NH.

According to police, around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, troopers stopped 63-year-old Dexter Cilley of Laconia, for driving his Honda Accord the wrong way up the Exit 2 northbound off-ramp.

Cilley then drove southbound in northbound lanes until troopers located him. Cilley attempted to make a U-turn to reverse direction, he then stopped and was taken into custody.

No crashes or injuries were reported during this incident.

Cilley is being charged with reckless conduct and is scheduled to be arraigned in Salem District Court.
