WEST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. — A 42-year-old man has died after a rollover crash in West Bridgewater on Tuesday morning, police said.
The man’s name was not released Tuesday pending notification of next of kin. Police said no other occupants were in the vehicle.
Emergency crews responded to Elm Street near Scotland Street after receiving reports of a vehicle crash with entrapment around 7:21 a.m. Tuesday.
A preliminary investigation found the crash appears to have been medically-related, and speed or recklessness do not appear to be factors in the crash, West Bridgewater Police Lt. Tim Nixon told Boston 25.
The vehicle left the roadway, overturned in a wooded area and became submerged in wetlands, Nixon said.
The driver was taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, where he was later pronounced dead, Nixon said.
State Police and West Bridgewater Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
