3 $1M Powerball winners, 8 tickets with smaller prizes sold in Massachusetts

FRANKLIN, Mass. — Check those tickets! Three $1 million winning Powerball tickets were sold in Massachusetts.

After three months, there is finally a Powerball jackpot winner. One ticket in California matched all five white balls and the red Powerball number in Wednesday’s drawing, estimated at $1.08 billion.

The winning numbers on Wednesday were 7-10-11-13-24 and the red Powerball was 24. The multiplier was 2X.

According to the Massachusetts Lottery, $1 million winners were sold at Pride Station & Store in Hadley, Global Montello in Waltham, and Shaw’s in Franklin.

One $100,000 winning ticket was also sold at BB Liquors in Arlington, and $50,000 winners were sold at locations in Northampton, Lowell, Taunton, Revere, Brighton, Lynn, and Woburn.

This Powerball is the sixth largest in U.S. history and the 3rd largest in the game’s history.

If you didn’t win the Powerball, don’t worry, you’ve got another chance with the Mega Millions. That jackpot is up to $720 million. The drawing for that is Friday night.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.
