LOWELL, Mass. — Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting in Lowell.
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan says just before 8 p.m. Monday, police responded to Middlesex Street and Maude Street for a report of shots fired.
Arriving officers found a 24-year-old man suffering from several gunshot wounds, according to officials.
He was transported to Lowell General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. His name is not being released at this time.
No arrests have been made and the facts and circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation.
