OXFORD, Mass. — Two people injured suffered non-life-threatening injuries Wednesday night after the car they were traveling in crashed into a telephone pole on Stafford Street in Oxford, local police confirmed to Boston 25 News. That car caught fire shortly after the crash, becoming fully engulfed by the time police arrived on scene.
That crash happened just before 8:15 p.m. Wednesday when the car was traveling westbound on the street. The two victims are being treated at a local hospital.
National Grid are currently on scene replacing the telephone pole. The crash is under investigation.
