19-year-old to face negligent homicide charges in connection to deadly NH crash

MANCHESTER, NH — A 19-year-old will face charges including negligent homicide charges in connection with a serious crash in Manchester, New Hampshire last November.

Najean Mars is charged with negligent homicide, second-degree assault, and reckless conduct in connection with a 5-vehicle collision on November 22.

53-year-old Melvin Pfeifer, of Manchester, suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash and was taken to an area hospital where he later died. His 50-year-old passenger also suffered minor injuries.

Mars’ bail was set at $5,000. This crash investigation is still active and ongoing.
