BOSTON — A man in his 30s was shot in the head during a robbery at the M&R convenience store on Shawmut Avenue, Boston 25 News has learned.
He suffered life-threatening injuries after being shot on Tuesday night at the store at 718 Shawmut Ave. in the city’s Roxbury neighborhood, police said.

A woman who lives in the neighborhood told Boston 25 News a clerk at the store, a man in his 30s, was shot in the head. She said he’s only been working there for a few months.
The victim was sent to an area hospital. His condition was not immediately known.
