EVERETT, Mass. — The Everett casino is still under construction, but Wynn Resorts new CEO is already talking about dumping it, according to a Bloomberg report.
An unnamed source told Bloomberg said there have been informal discussions about the sale of the $2.4 billion Wynn Boston Harbor project.
Wynn Resorts has been restructuring since the resignation of the founder, Steven Wynn, who was accused of sexually harassing employees in early 2018.
Massachusetts casino regulator have been investigating the finances of the Everett project since Wynn left the company.
Wynn Boston Harbor will feature a large resort, harbor walk and conference space along with the casino when it's finished, which is slated to open next year.
