BOSTON — Governor Charlie Baker announced $40 million in additional funding will be given to cities and towns for road and bridge improvement projects.
The funding was included in a supplemental budget signed by the Governor on Tuesday.
“This funding represents our continued commitment to supporting communities as they address the maintenance and modernization of local roads, which are a critical part of the Commonwealth’s transportation network,” Governor Baker said.
$200 million had already been included in the original budget.
