BOSTON — A Springfield company unveiled the renderings for its new Seaport tower Wednesday.
MassMutual Life Insurance’s new 310,000 square-foot waterfront building will have a glass façade and a public outdoor plaza facing the marina.
“We look forward to growing our presence in one of the state’s most exciting and vibrant areas and building our campus at Fan Pier, which will be a standout piece of architecture in the city,” said Roger Crandall, MassMutual Chairman, President & CEO.
The building was designed by Boston’s Elkus Manfredi Architects and will include landscaped terraces on the 13th floor and rooftop.
It will also have a water feature “to mimic the crashing of waves.”
