Quarantine cancelled your wedding? The Fairmont Copley is offering a $1K ‘minimony’ option

BOSTON — One of Boston’s most popular wedding venues is offering intimate replacement ceremony opportunities for couples whose big day was cancelled by the coronavirus outbreak.

You can now book at ‘minimony’ for $1,000 starting in July, when the Fairmont Copley Plaza is set to reopen, for a wedding.

You can up to 10 people in attendance at the Back Bay Hotel, but the hotel offers live stream options for your extended family and friends to see.

The “We Still Do” package bookings run from July to September 22.

“Brides & grooms can choose from the hotel’s elegant Ballrooms where there is plenty of space to social distance, and will receive a sparkling toast, wedding cake, and exclusive access to take photos throughout the historic hotel, like the Presidential Suite, outdoor Roof Deck and all of its Ballrooms not in use,” the hotel said in a press release.

The first couple to schedule a ceremony will win a free 1-night stay on their first wedding anniversary next year.

Those interested can email RFP-COP@Fairmont.com or call 617-867-8562 to inquire about detailed pricing and availability.
