NORTH POLE — It may be hard to think about right now, but there is someone checking his list on this hot summer day. Yes, Santa Claus is getting ready for the holiday, and as we all know this is going to be a holiday year unlike no other.
We checked in at a Santa Camp in southwestern New Hampshire to see how Santa Claus plans to spread cheer without spreading the virus.
Santa showed us one idea where he may use a foldable bubble so he could be face to face with children and still keep everyone safe. Santa says they will be teaching the basics.
“It’s not just ho ho ho. It’s called the “hee, hee, Haa.”
Santa then gave us his big jolly laugh.

Santa is also being fitted for a face covering. All types. He prefers the clear ones.
“Kids can see your smile, they can see your mouth. And see you talk.”
They are looking at face shields, too.
Santa says it’s all about staying safe and learning new tricks to teach Santa’s old ways.
Even Santa needs to make some adjustments due to COVID-19. @rgoulston explains why the big man in red traded in the snowy North Pole for a sunny day in New Hampshire on Boston 25 News at 6 p.m. | https://t.co/kPwzQe829H #boston25 #Christmas2020 pic.twitter.com/Zb5bc1bc0a
