Boston Public Market reopens with new guidelines

BOSTON — Union Square Donuts lovers everywhere are rejoicing. Boston Public Market, an indoor market and Boston staple, is reopening its doors Wednesday, Sept. 16., with new guidelines and hours of operation.

The Market is open Wednesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and face coverings are required to enter. Some precautions that the Market is taking to maintain public safety include operating at 50% occupancy, opening an outdoor seating area, discontinuing self-serve food stations and increasing cleaning protocols, according to their Safety-First Reopening Strategy. This plan was reviewed and approved by the City of Boston and follows local and state government guidelines.

However, the Market is also encouraging visitors to social distance, make use of the hand washing and sanitizing stations throughout the Market and utilize touchless payment methods if possible.

Prior to this reopening, the Market has been hosting outdoor pop-up events and farmers markets.
