PLAISTOW, N.H. — A Haverhill man was arrested after allegedly walking into a gym in Plaistow, New Hampshire and working out nude, police say.

The 34-year-old, identified as Eric Stagno, allegedly went into a Planet Fitness and stripped down at the gym's door.

Police say he then walked back and forth in the gym before working out on a yoga mat.

Officers arrived on scene and found Stagno completely nude in a "yoga-type position." The only statement he made after being found was that he thought the gym was a "judgment-free zone."

A witness to the incident said he was on the stationary bike when the naked man walked by.

"I look up and I did a double take," the witness said. "This guy just walked right by me, completely naked. I'm like 'Wow, this is something you don't see every day."

The witness snapped pictures of the incident, and said the bizarre situation continues.

"He walked over to where people stretch, and people were getting away from him and everything like he had the plague," the witness said. "Then, he walked by me again and started using the machines to work out."

Gym members at the Planet Fitness were just as shocked as everyone else at the situation.

"Pretty strange," Evan Dinu, a gym member, said. "Not something you see at the gym every day. I'm glad I wasn't here for it."

Stagno was arrested and charged with indecent exposure/lewdness and disorderly conduct.
