CONCORD, N.H. — Former New Hampshire Governor Stephen Merrill has died, according to a statement from Gov. Chris Sununu.
All flags in the Granite State were ordered to half staff Saturday in honor of the late governor.
His family released a statement announced the death of the former attorney general and governor.
According to the family, Merrill passed away “peacefully at his home with his family.”
