FOX 25's Sharman Sacchetti makes list of top political reporters

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Well we already knew it, but we're happy to announce that The Washington Post has selected our Sharman Sacchetti as one of the best political reporters in the business.

The Post says they rarely get the attention they deserve and that these reporters are "under-appreciated."

The paper lists the "best of the best" from all 50 states and the District of Columbia. They say they chose reporters based on recommendations from readers in their community.

Sacchetti was on the list along with other Mass. reporters including David Bernstein of Boston Magazine and Scot Lehigh of The Boston Globe. Sacchetti, a Mass. native, joined FOX25 News in 2005 as a general assignment reporter and became the station's political reporter in 2010. The award-winning journalist is known for her tough questioning of major political players.
