The first weekend of autumn is here and the weather will be as fickle as the season.
The front that brought us heavy rain and wind early in the week keeps drifting back toward us, bringing clouds and a few showers. That is likely to happen again early Saturday, though the sun should win out for most in the afternoon.
We'll also have to watch a front approaching from the west. It is likely to bring some showers or thunderstorms late Saturday night into Sunday morning. The western part of the state has a slight risk of severe weather, but FOX 25's Sarah Wroblewski will let you know if any develops Saturday night. Those showers exit early Sunday. After that, cooler weather moves in to start the week before our next shot of rain in the middle of the week.
