BOSTON — The first poster for the movie 'Stronger' was released Tuesday.
Starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Tatiana Maslany, the movie tells the story of Jeff Bauman. The Chelmsford resident was at the finish line the day the bombs went off to cheer on his then-girlfriend Erin Hurley.
Bauman lost both of his lower legs in the bombing.
The trailer, released last month, shows that it details Bauman's relationship with Hurley, his recovery and how his injury affected his relationships.
The movie is based off Bauman's memoir, also called "Stronger," which is a New York Times Bestseller. The book discusses how Bauman helped with the search for the marathon bombers, but it's unclear if the movie will touch on that.
Bauman and Hurley married after the bombing but recently announced their divorce.
