BOSTON — It's Fenway Park like you've never seen before.
Music, dancers and DJs set up inside as the park opened its doors to some special guests for the Red Sox World Series gala.
The incredible up close and personal look at Fenway was set up as a thank you to workers and some VIPs.
“It’s a huge thank you our front office and we have our scouts come in from all over the country," said Sam Kennedy, the Red Sox CEO.
Guests were treated to a night of fun and music before the World Series, a game Sheila Geraty and her husband, born in Los Angeles but who now call Boston home, are excited to see.
“This is the thrill of a lifetime and I can’t believe it’s Dodgers vs. Red Sox," said Geraty. “We grew up in LA but have lived here for 40 years.”
When asked if they were Boston fans, Geraty answered, "Absolutely."
Another elusive Red Sox fan made it to tonight's gala, Boston Commissioner William Gross.
Gross has made a wager with the Los Angeles Police Department's chief offering up seven lobsters, each weighing a hefty two and a half pounds if the Dodgers win.
There's still no word yet on what the commissioner gets if Boston wins. Boston 25 News checked with the LAPD and they said they're still working on their counter offer.
