FBI Boston arrests two more people in connection with U.S. Capitol riots

BOSTON — FBI Boston’s Joint Terrorism Task Force has arrested two more people in connection with the riots at the U.S. Capitol.

The FBI said 33-year-old Kirstyn Niemela, of Hudson, NH, was arrested and charged with 4 counts, including Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building and Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds.

36-year-old Stefanie Chiguer of Dracut was also arrested and charged with 4 counts, including Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building and Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building.

Both were arrested on Tuesday.

The FBI said that brings the total number of people charged by the FBI Boston Division in connection with the January 6, 2021 riots at the U.S. Capitol to 13.

The FBI continues to ask for the public’s help in identifying all people involved with the riots.
