READING, Mass. — The family of a Bedford man who was killed in a chain reaction triggered by an alleged intoxicated driver says they are ready to move forward.
The victim’s wife and sons told the judge their biggest fear is that Lynn DeWolfe will destroy another family.
"Chris was so many things to so many people, most importantly, he was an amazing father, he was the fun parent," his widow, Alexis Weisz, said.
Weisz was married to Chris for 16 years. Until the day in August 2017 when she received a terrible phone call. Police said Chris’s motorcycle was hit on 95 and he was killed.
"The most vivid memory that haunts me almost every day was when I told my kids their dad had been in an accident and had died," said Weisz.
Prosecutors say Lynn DeWolfe was high on painkillers when she caused that chain reaction crash.
It was her third arrest for operating under the influence.

"Because of Lynn DeWolfe I’ll never see my father again, my life has been permanently changed," his son, Maxwell Weisz, said.
Chris’s teenage sons begged the judge for the maximum possible sentence for a woman they say has chosen to get behind the wheel while intoxicated, time and again.
"Lynne DeWolfe is a heartless, worthless dangerous piece of human trash," another son, Logan, said.
Though DeWolfe cried during testimony, the Weisz family says she has shown no remorse.
"I've only seen her cry one other day and that’s the day after Chris’s death and that’s because she was caught," Alexis said.
She says she just hopes the judge issues a sentence that ensures DeWolfe is behind bars and not behind the wheel.
"I don’t really have what I would find acceptable. Chris is not coming back, nothing is really acceptable. I just want to make sure she doesn’t hurt anybody else," Alexis said.
DeWolfe had no comment as she left the court.
The judge will announce a sentence if she chooses to plead guilty within the next few weeks.
