Enjoy winter from a rooftop igloo bar

BOSTON — Enjoy the view of the Boston Harbor from your very own igloo.

The Outlook and Lookout at the Envoy Hotel is transforming their rooftop space this winter into an igloo bar.

The Envoy, which is in the Seaport, is a hot spot in the summer and the bar wanted to find a way to keep the party going in the winter. Thus, they are opening heated igloos.

The igloos are first come first serve unless a group wants to reserve a whole igloo. In that case, there is a drink minimum. There is a two hour time limit for all guests as well.

Only drinks are available in the igloos, but food is always available in the restaurant once you are done.

The igloo bar is open will be open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. to all over the age of 21.

The barsaid to call ahead this Thursday because of the snow storm, but as of now, they are open.
