WESTWOOD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) - We have new information after a FOX25 investigation into access issues at the 128 train station.
Six months after repairs began, the elevators on both sides of the tracks are back up and running.
FOX25 first reported on the broken and out of service elevators and escalators in March.
Riders alerted us to the problems that created huge barriers for passengers with disabilities, senior citizens and parents with small children.
Amtrak and the MBTA said the entire station is under renovation.
Work continues on the escalators to the tracks.
