Drone spotted outside bedroom windows in one NH community

HOLLIS, N.H. — In the past few years drones have become more commonplace at parks and above popular street events, but residents in one New Hampshire town say they've also seen drone outside their windows.

Police in Hollis said they have had two reports in the past several weeks from people who say they were being watched in their sleep.

"In the early morning and the late night hours," Hollis Police Lt. Rick Bailey said. "They feel it's an invasion of their privacy, which it is."

Police notified residents about the reports Friday. One of the homes where a drone was spotted is on Flint Pond Road, the other on Wright Road.

Residents said they are unnerved because it's unclear why the drone is outside homes in the first place.

"I had no idea I didn't know about that," Amy Cielinski said. "Yeah I think I'll close my curtains at night on the back side of my house."
