DUDLEY, Mass. — Two drivers are in serious condition after a multi-vehicle crash in Dudley, police say.
Police said they responded around 9:05 a.m. Sunday morning to the two-car crash on Southbridge Road near the intersection of Mill Road, and said the crash happened on the bridge spanning the Quinebaug River.

The first car was driven by a 22-year-old Southrbridge man, and the second was driven by a 68-year-old from Woodstock, Connecticut.
Both drivers were the only people in their cars, and both were transported to area hospitals in serious condition.
The names of the drivers were being withheld, according to police.
Westborough Police, along with Chief Sluckis, announced that the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (CEMLEC) was on scene to reconstruct the crash.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, and the road was reopened around 1 p.m. Sunday.
