Dorchester fatal shooting: Second arrest made after July 4 homicide

Police have arrested a suspect in connection to a fatal shooting from July 4 in Dorchester.

Boston Police arrested 27-year-old Dorchester native Travis Phillips on Worcester Street in the South End on Thursday in connection to the homicide.

Another suspect, 32-year-old Michael Carleton, was arrested earlier in the week on Tuesday on Woodbole Street in Mattapan in connection to the incident.

The arrests come after 36-year-old Deondra Lee was found with multiple gunshot wounds on Brookford and Dacia Streets in Dorchester.

Lee was taken to the Boston Medical Center, and later succumbed to life-threatening injuries.
