ROCKLAND, Mass. — Dive teams have pulled a car from a pond in Rockland after receiving reports of a submerged vehicle Tuesday morning.
The Plymouth County Technical Rescue Team tweeted that members of the dive team members were searching for a submerged vehicle off Market Street at the 29-acre Studleys Pond, which is known locally as Reed's Pond.
Divers found a gray Honda sedan that has been removed from the pond and towed away.
The Rockland Fire Chief tells Boston 25 News the car owner pushed his vehicle into the water and left the scene.

Police arrested the man shortly after and transported him to a local hospital for evaluation.

There have been no reported injuries.
No charges have been brought against the car owner at this point.
