The teams traded leads and had their fair share of big moments.

But the game ended as Rafael Devers threw out Manny Machado as he strode -- blowing a bubble -- to first base.

The question that remained Sunday morning was whether Machado had intentionally clipped the Sox first baseman Steve Pearce's heel as he ran through the base.

Sox Fans were quick to condemn the action as yet another of a 'dirty player's' shenanigans. But Machado adamantly denies doing it on purpose.

The Internet was quick to weigh in Machado's actions -- particularly given his history with the Sox.

But many wondered how much effort the Dodgers' slugger was giving, as he was clearly blowing a bubble with his gum as he approached first base.

Either way, many Sox fans are simply further convinced of their opinion of Machado -- which we'll just let them voice.
