DEDHAM, Mass. — The search for three men suspected in an armed robbery continues as the public gets its first look at two of the suspects in video obtained by Boston 25 News.
Residents in Dedham were advised to stay indoors as police searched for a "suspect in an armed robbery" in the area Friday afternoon, but police later said it appeared the people had ditched their car and left the area.
According to police, dispatchers in Dedham picked up a radio call from Boston Police at around 12:45 p.m. regarding an armed robbery followed by a police chase.
BPD officers followed a black BMW into I-95, where State Police troopers attempted to stop the car.

The suspected vehicle then exited into Dedham through exit 16A, traveling along Route 109 east and eventually turning left into Pine Street, at which point police stopped the pursuit.
Shortly after, the car was found abandoned on Short Street in Dedham at the intersection with Violet Avenue.
Boston, Needham and Westwood Police assisted Dedham and State Police in establishing a perimeter in the area. Authorities asked residents and businesses were asked via social media and direct phone calls to shelter in place.
However, around 2 p.m., police said residents could return to normal activity.

A retired police officer tipped off a Dedham officer in the area, saying the people they were searching for hid under a tent at McGolf on Route 109 before a car came and picked them up. The owner said he saw it all on surveillance footage.
Managers at McGolf say that just after 1 p.m. the suspects walked in like any other customers and went to the patio, where they hid for 10 minutes. It was there where the retired officer noticed what was going on and notified police.
Before they could arrive, a Toyota pulled into the parking lot at McGolf, which the suspects then entered and fled in.
"Like everybody else, I'm hoping they catch them as soon as possible," said David Cuddy, the manager at McGolf. "You don't want somebody like that on the loose."
Investigators say the chase began on Cummings Highway in Mattapan. They say the suspects allegedly robbed another man who was simply walking down that roadway.
Police conducting a search in Canton near the old Reebok building were seen picking up a gun in a wooded area. Massachusetts State Police say it is connected to the chase and was allegedly thrown from the car.
