Country music community mourns the loss of Joey Feek

The country world was deeply saddened to learn Joey + Rory’s Joey Feek passed away at age 40 after a long battle with cancer.

Blake Shelton tweeted, “So sad to hear about Joey’s passing.”

Carrie Underwood shared, “Praying for the family & friends of Joey Feek. A beautiful soul moved into heaven today. A beautiful legacy she left behind.”
Brad Paisley tweeted, “God bless you Joey,& prayers for Rory and family tonight. There’s never been a more courageous battle or inspiring example. Heaven awaits.”

Chris Young remembered Joey’s huge talent tweeting, “Thoughts, prayers, and condolences to the Feek family. Have played shows with Joey and Rory before and it’s so sad to lose her amazing voice.”

The Grand Ole Opry paid tribute to Joey saying, “She was a beautiful person inside and out and will truly be missed.”

The Band Perry’s Kimberly Perry tweeted, “Heartbroken by the passing of the beautiful Joey Feek and completely inspired by the way she lived every minute. Full of love and life. Rest in peace now. Sing with the angels now.”

Brandy Clark shared, “I am saddened by the passing of Joey Feek, but inspired by the “for better or worse” that she and Rory Feek have shown us all.”
