CHICAGO — With an estimated 5 million people attended the Chicago Cubs parade and rally, it is now being counted among the largest gatherings in human history.
A list compiled by The Telegraph in 2015 lists the largest ever gatherings of people, and the Cubs rally Friday barely misses the top 5.

By comparison, the Red Sox rolling rally after winning the 2004 World Series is estimated to have had a crowd of around 3 million people.
