DENNIS, Mass. — Lottery officials said an unclaimed $500,000 Powerball prize won in the August 19, 2020 drawing is nearing its expiration.
The winning ticket was purchased at South Dennis Mobil, 452 Route 134 in South Dennis.
The winning numbers from that drawing at 13-23-47-55-58 and Powerball of 23.
The ticket matched the first four of five numbers plus the Powerball.
Since the ticket included the Power Play option and the Power Play multiplier for the drawing was 10X, the base prize of $50,000 was multiplied for a total of $500,000.
Powerball prize winners have one year from the date of the drawing to claim the prize. That means the final day to claim the prize is Thursday.
If the prize isn’t claimed, the prize will be part of the net profit that the Lotter returns to the state to be distributed to all 351 cities and towns.
All prizes over $100,000 must be claimed at Lottery Headquarters located at 150 Mount Vernon St. in Dorchester.
