BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- State Senate Minority Leader Bruce Tarr is reportedly considering a run in the special election for U.S. Senate.
The Republican from Gloucester told the State House News Service on Tuesday night that he would make his decision by Monday.
Tarr entered the Senate in 1995. He says he began thinking about running after Scott Brown said he would not enter the race.
State Rep. Dan Winslow is also weighing a run on the Republican side. He says he is 99-percent sure he will run.
Democratic congressmen Stephen Lynch and Ed Markey have already kicked off their campaigns.
