BROOKLINE, Mass. — A on-duty Brookline police officer was involved in a multi-car crash Thursday evening, police confirm to Boston 25 News.
The crash happened just after 6 p.m. at the intersection of Hammond Street and Woodland Road.
Police said two passengers in one of the cars were taken to the hospital with what they described as minor injuries.
The officer was also transported to the hospital. The officer’s injuries and condition are unknown.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
