A Brockton man was indicted after a police-involved shooting, according to Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz.
The man, identified as 51-year-old George A. Baron, was indicted on Friday on two counts of assault by means of a dangerous weapon.
The shooting occurred on April 8, 2018, when Brockton Police got a 911 call for a report of a man threatening to harm himself on North Main Street in Brockton.
Officers found Baron brandishing a large knife, who then lunged at the officers before police fired their weapons at the suspect.

Baron was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton, before being taken to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston for his injuries.
Baron's scheduled to be arraigned in Brockton Superior Court at a later date.
