BOSTON — Boston Police are investigating a shooting in Mattapan that left one person dead.
Police say the shooting happened around 2 p.m. Sunday on Duke Street in Mattapan.
According to police, Corey Thompson, 25, was found shot and rushed to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The Boston Police Department has said it is investigating the shooting, but police have not released any information on a suspect.
