Boston Police are investigating after a second Dorchester shooting on Wednesday.
Police say the shooting happened just before 10 p.m. on Brookford and Dacia Streets in Dorchester.
The victim is an adult male, and police say he suffered life-threatening injuries.

The man was taken to a local hospital, and police are investigating the incident.
The shooting was the second in the area within four hours, and the fifth shooting victim of the night.
