BOSTON — Firefighters in Boston spent the afternoon battling a 2-alarm fire in West Roxbury.
According to the Boston Fire Department, a call came in for a heavy fire at around 5:35 p.m. at 37 Morrell Street on Thursday.
At the scene, smoke could be seen billowing from the structure.

In a tweet, the Boston Fire Department said thick, black smoke was covering the neighborhood.

Four apartments were flooded and seven people were displaced, but no injuries were reported. Damage is estimated to be around $900,000.
