(MyFoxBoston.com) -- Furniture chain Bernie & Phyl's is shaking things up, and though it seems like it's been around forever, their famous jingle is going to be gone.
Yes, that one, the jingle that promises "quality, comfort and price; that's nice."
According to the Boston Business Journal, management at the store, which has eight locations throughout New England, has hired an outside advertising agency, which will launch a new campaign next week.
The tag line of the new ads will be âBernie & Phyl's: Home of fine furniture.â An executive with the New York ad agency, DeVito/Verdi, says the new commercials will work to change the public's perception of the brand, and that the stores carry quality furniture.
No word yet on if the jingle will make a comeback in future ad campaigns. But for anyone growing nostalgic already, just sing a few bars out loud. Someone nearby is sure to join in.
