Beach Boys rock out at Boston's Bank of America Pavilion

BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - The Beach Boys appeared at Boston's Bank of America Pavilion on Tuesday night as part of their global 50th Anniversary Tour.

Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnson, and David Marks took to the stage at the Bank of America Pavilion at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Together for the first time in more than two decades, The Beach Boys kicked off their tour on April 27 at New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.  They also performed at The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival on June 10.

Due to overwhelming demand, a second show was scheduled for May 13 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.  The May 12 performance sold out in one day.

The band performed together at the 2012 GRAMMY Awards.

After five decades, the Beach Boys continue to hold Billboard/Nielsen SoundScan's record as the top-selling American band for albums and singles, and they are also the American group with the most Billboard Top 40 chart hits with 36.
