Arrest made in fatal shooting of Brockton man

BROCKTON, Mass. — Police have made an arrest in the fatal shooting of a 27-year-old man in Brockton earlier this month.

Kian Willis, 21, is charged in connection with the Nov. 12 shooting death of Patrick Seqeuira-Ferreira of Brockton, the Plymouth County district attorney's office said in a statement on Wednesday.

Seqeuira-Ferreira was fatally shot just before 7 p.m. on Keith Avenue, near a CVS Pharmacy. Customers and employees at the busy CVS were stunned to learn of the shooting and see emergency responders at the scene.

State Police detectives and Brockton Police arrested Willis around 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

He is scheduled to be arraigned in Brockton District Court.
