BOSTON — Occupational cancer has claimed the life of another one of Boston’s bravest.
Boston Fire Lt. Eddie Paris, Engine 18, lost his battle with work-related cancer on Monday.
Lt. Paris was the brother of Boston Fire Fighters Local 718 IAFF President Rich Paris and the son of late Capt. Ed Paris.
“Eddie was someone I loved working with these past 32 years,” Commissioner Joe Finn said. “I’ll miss you my friend.”
Lt. Paris leaves behind his wife, Maureen, and his children.
