BOSTON — An American Airlines flight from Philadelphia to Dublin, Ireland was diverted to Boston's Logan Airport Monday night after a passenger had a medical emergency.
FOX25 was originally told it was due to an unruly passenger, but have since learned the female passenger had a medical incident. Law enforcement met the plane on the runway and removed the passenger.
Mass State Police told FOX25's Ted Daniel that the passenger was placed in a seat but not "restrained" during the flight.

The airline told FOX25, "the safety and security of our passengers are always our top priorities."
American Airlines tweeted at a person who said he was on flight 722, "We're sorry for the unexpected stop. We'll be letting someone off the plane in BOS and we'll have you on your way."
