ENFIELD, CT (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) A massive reptile was caught several states north of its normal habitat on Friday.
Police say they tackled and caught a three foot long alligator roaming near a neighborhood bus stop in Enfield, Connecticut early Friday morning.
It is not clear where it came from, but officials said it was wearing a leash and a collar, leading them to believe it was someone's pet.
The alligator is now being cared for at an animal rescue facility in North Andover.
