On Tuesday, ALDI is going on a "hiring blitz" in Massachusetts and New Hampshire with the hope of hiring more than 100 people.
ALDI, a discount grocery store selling most of its items under its own brand, has stores six stores in eastern Massachusetts, including Medford, Milford, Leominster, Worcester and Raynham. In New Hampshire, there are also six stores, locations being Keene, Manchester, Nashua, Derry, Plaistow and Salem.
Hiring managers will be at all of the Massachusetts and New Hampshire locations from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday. They are hiring for store associates, which make between $12 and $12.75, depending on location.
ALDI said in order to be eligible for the job, you must be 18 years or older, be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday to Sunday, be able to lift 45 pounds and pass a drug screening a background check. Those with their high school diploma or GED and have retail experience are preferred.
For employees that average more than 25 hours a week, health insurance and dental benefits are available, along with a 401k.
