If it's on the internet it must be true, right?
Well, as much as we'd like for Google to be correct this time, the Red Sox have not yet won the 2018 World Series title.
However, on Friday morning, many internet users were dumbfounded when they opened their browsers to search "Red Sox Championships" only to see 2018 listed as one of the years the team earned the title.

As of 2 p.m. on Friday, while the Red Sox have won the first two World Series games against the LA Dodgers, they still need two more wins in order to become World Series champions.
