WESTWOOD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) - We have new information on a FOX25 investigation into accessibility issues at a local train station.
We first showed the broken elevators and escalators at the Westwood-128 station in March.
Passengers said they had to carry people in wheelchairs down the stairs.
We went back Tuesday and they are still out of service.
Officials with Amtrak say it's part of major capital improvement project. They say during this time they are offering shuttles to transport passengers who need assistance.
They expect to have work completed in early September. FOX25 will continue to monitor the progress.
