AAA to offer license, registration renewal at some locations

WESTWOOD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The Registry of Motor Vehicles and AAA of Southern New England announced a partnership on Wednesday that would provide RMV services to AAA members at locations around the state.

Now, AAA members do not have to go to one of the state's RMV locations to renew their driver's license and car registration. Instead, they can now also head to one of six AAA offices. 

Those offices are in Westwood, Rockland, Newburyport, Burlington, Somerset and Newton.

AAA members can renew or get a duplicate license or ID card, and can also renew person cars or commercial vehicles under 55,000 pounds. For a complete list of available transactions, visit www.aaa.com/registry.

The RMV services are also available on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
