RAYMOND, N.H. — New Hampshire State Police shared a frightening reminder to clear the snow and ice off your vehicle Friday morning.
A large chunk of ice flew off a box truck on Route 101 in Raymond and smashed through the windshield of a car Thursday afternoon. The driver was hit in the head by part of the ice, according to state police.
That person had a severe laceration to the head and was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
Police say they couldn't track down the truck, but if anyone saw the incident, they're asked to contact state police at 603-679-3333.
"This is another example of the importance of following #JessicasLaw and clearing all snow and ice before traveling on the roadway," State Police said in a Facebook post.
