64-year-old man arrested in connection to Beverly murder

BEVERLY, Mass. — Police have arrested a 64-year-old man in connection to a shooting death that happened in March.

On March 13, Beverly Police responded to 10 Summer Street for a report of a “man down."

When they arrived on scene, they found 50-year-old Donald Fogg with a gunshot wound and he was pronounced dead.

On Wednesday morning, police issued an arrest warrant for 64-year-old Bruce Gunn at approximately 5:00 a.m.

Gunn was taken into custody and is expected to be arraigned on a murder charge by teleconference in Salem District Court.

The Essex District ATtorney’s Office, Essex State Police Detective Unit and the Beverly Police Department conducted the investigation.
